Residents will be able to get to the metro by public transport in five minutes.
In autumn, traffic will be launched on the road that will connect the city of Moskovsky and the Filatov Lug station of the Sokolnicheskaya metro line. The route will run from Raduzhnaya Street in the Grad Moskovsky microdistrict, its length will be 2.3 kilometers.
Chapter Moscow New Territories Development Department Vladimir Zhidkin reported that public transport will be launched on the new road, and the journey from Moskovsky to the metro will take no more than five minutes. Now, during rush hours, residents of the city sometimes get to the subway for more than 40 minutes.
The carriageway will consist of four lanes – two in each direction. Lighting will be installed along the road, three traffic lights and noise screens will be installed, as well as two bus stop pavilions for public transport.
During construction, measures will be taken to protect the environment. The project was developed taking into account the need to preserve the eco-structure of the Ulyanovsk forest park and provides for the improvement of the adjacent territory. Tens of thousands of trees and bushes will be planted here, the lawn will be broken.
Since joining the capital, more than 250 kilometers of highways have been built in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas. In 2021 will complete the construction of eight more road transport infrastructure facilities (almost 25 kilometers of roads). This will relieve existing highways, significantly reduce travel time, increase transport accessibility of settlements and metro stations, and expand the public transport network.
By 2023, it is planned to build 77 kilometers of highways in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas under the Moscow City Targeted Investment Program.
