The 51st Russian Indoor Athletics Championships have finished in the KLFK CSKA track and field arena. At the end of the third day of competition, army athletes won four gold, three silver and one bronze medals, including in the relay.

Svetlana Aplachkina became the winner of the Russian Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 1,500 m race, having won the second gold medal at the tournament (the athlete had previously excelled in the 3,000 m race). Svetlana showed a time of 4 minutes 15.74 seconds, ahead of Elena Korobkina (4 minutes 15.81 seconds) and Dina Aleksandrova (4 minutes 16.39 seconds).

Daria Nidbaikina and Dmitry Chizhikov became the best in the triple jump among women and men, showing the results of 13.99 m and 16.80 m, respectively. The second were Victoria Prokopenko (13.46 m) and Vitaly Pavlov (16.50 m). Natalya Evdokimova (13.30 m) and warrant officer Alexei Fedorov (16.49 m) climbed to the third step of the podium.

Vera Filatova (Alymova), speaking with Milena Anokhina, Yekaterina Koprova and Valeria Tsaplina, won the 4×400 m relay with a score of 3 minutes 37.24 seconds. The second place was taken by Alena Mamina, Valeria Andreeva (Khramova), Yulia Spiridonova and Maria Tarabanskaya, showing the time 3 minutes 37.49 seconds. Darya Tikhonova, Ekaterina Vakhrusheva, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Oksana Skorobogatko closed the top three – 3 minutes 39.49 seconds.
