The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out tasks on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.

At twenty-seven observation posts, Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and control over the observance of the ceasefire regime.

The ceasefire is observed along the entire line of contact.

Russian peacekeepers ensure the safety of the return of citizens to their places of permanent residence, the movement of civilian vehicles, the transportation of food and various goods through the Lachin corridor.

Since November 14, 2020, 52,659 people have returned to their former residences in Nagorno-Karabakh.

With the personnel of the observation posts of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, classes and trainings are held in a planned manner to prevent violations, as well as a possible attack on the observation post.

The infrastructure of the posts includes comfortable living quarters for personnel, a block module for cooking and eating, as well as a transport and technological block module equipped with units for supplying constant electricity.

All observation posts are equipped with fortifications designed to protect military personnel from small arms and shrapnel.

In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 Moscow time on November 10, 2020, a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh were announced.

A peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation has been deployed to control the ceasefire and military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh. Russian peacekeepers ensure the safe return of refugees and the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh.
