In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Russian ski orienteering championship ended, in which athletes from the Army’s Central Sports Club won three gold, one silver and one bronze medals.

Army athlete Alena Trapeznikova became the best in the classics at the Russian ski orienteering championship held in the Nizhny Novgorod region, with a score of 35 minutes 18 seconds bypassing Maria Vyatkina (35 minutes 41 seconds) and warrant officer Tatyana Oborina (36 minutes 14 seconds).

Also Alena Trapeznikova, performing with Anastasia Kravchenko and Alina Debrina as part of the Khabarovsk Territory team, with a result of 1 hour 29 minutes 38 seconds, excelled in the relay on the marked track. The second place was taken by athletes from the Perm Territory (1 hour 32 minutes 8 seconds), and the top three were closed by a representative of the Moscow Region (1 hour 36 minutes 15 seconds).

Tatiana Oborina also took silver in the combination. Having shown a time of 35 minutes 8 seconds, the army athlete lost to Daria Shupikova (34 minutes 21 seconds), but surpassed the result of Marina Vyatkina (35 minutes 22 seconds).

Ensign Stepan Malinovskiy became the best among men on the marked track. Having shown the result of 39 minutes 19 seconds, Stepan climbed to the top step of the podium. Vadim Tolstopyatov finished second (+ 51 seconds), third – German Sazykin (+ 2 minutes 7 seconds).
