The finalists of the All-Army Competition “Teacher of the Year of General Educational Organizations of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation – 2021” perform competition tasks in the Pension of pupils of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

This year the competition is held in a distance format. The final stage of the competition was attended by 27 teachers from 16 pre-university educational organizations of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Our competition is being held for the seventh time. Its geography is constantly expanding and today teachers of the branch of the Nakhimov Naval School in Kaliningrad, which was created last year, are taking part in the competition, ”said Major General Igor Muravlyannikov, head of the Military Education Department of the Main Personnel Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

He noted that in a rapidly changing world it is necessary to constantly engage in self-development, expand one’s own horizons, improve working methods, and master new technologies.

“You are actively introducing innovations, constantly modernizing teaching practices. The experience of many of you can rightfully be called unique, ”Igor Muravlyannikov addressed the participants of the competition.

He thanked the teachers for their high professionalism, wisdom, patience and dedication to the profession and wished them victory in the competition.

Representatives of Krasnodar and Petrozavodsk presidential cadet schools, Moscow and Perm Suvorov schools, as well as the Moscow cadet corps “Boarding school for pupils of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation” became finalists in the “Teacher of the Year” nomination.

Competitors from Kemerovo, Orenburg, Kyzyl Presidential Schools competed in the “Educator of the Year” nomination; Perm Suvorov School and the Moscow Cadet Corps “Boarding School for the Pupils of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.”

The Debut of the Year nomination was presented by 7 contestants: teachers of the Ussuriysk, St. Petersburg, Moscow Suvorov schools, Petrozavodsk, Tyumen, Krasnodar presidential schools, as well as the Branch of the Nakhimov Naval School in Kaliningrad.

The finalists in the nomination “The best teacher-psychologist” were the participants of the competition, representing the cadet schools of Petrozavodsk and Kyzyl, the Perm, St. Petersburg Suvorov and Nakhimov naval schools.

Representatives of the St. Petersburg Cadet Corps “Boarding School for Pupils of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation”, the Kazan Suvorov School, the Orenburg and Stavropol Presidential Cadet Schools, and the Branch of the Nakhimov Naval School in the city of Kaliningrad are fighting for the title “Best Teacher of Additional Education”

All participants compete in a distance format, presenting a competitive lesson or lesson.

In addition, teachers will demonstrate their skills as part of the “Public Lecture” competitive test.

The online format will allow competitors to realize the value of electronic educational resources as an effective tool in improving the quality of education, gain new experience in translating their pedagogical achievements into a digital format, and improve their professional competence in the field of IT technologies.
