Combined artillery crews of a motorized rifle unit of the Southern Military District (YuVO), stationed in the Volgograd region, held a festive fireworks display in Volgograd.

For the sound accompaniment of the 2A85 fireworks, the gunners simultaneously fired shots with blank ammunition from 12 76-mm ZIS-3 divisional guns during the Great Patriotic War.

Residents and guests of the city saw 500 fireworks of various types: “Assol”, “Assol-chameleon”, “Sunflower”, “Volna-3”, “Vega-1,2,4” of various modifications presented in seven colors (silver, green-red, red-white, green-white, blue, blue, yellow). The explosions of fireworks charges were carried out at an altitude of up to 200 m. The fireworks were sounded by 30 volleys at a rate of 30 seconds.

In total, about 50 servicemen of the Southern Military District were involved to provide the festive fireworks and 12 cannons were involved.
