Citizens with disabilities can apply for rehabilitation means and prosthetic and orthopedic products, as well as crediting compensation.

In metropolitan centers of public services “My documents” a new service has appeared for citizens with disabilities temporarily staying or actually living in Moscow. They can apply for the provision of technical means of rehabilitation and prosthetic and orthopedic products, as well as to receive compensation to the Social Insurance Fund (FSS) through any convenient center. This can be done if you have supporting documents.

The new service also compensates for the following costs:

– payment for translation of Russian sign language (sign language translation, tiflosurd translation);

– maintenance and veterinary service of guide dogs;

– repair of technical means or products;

– payment for travel to the location of the organization, which received the technical means or products.

When filling out an application, you can choose how to receive a referral for issuing the necessary funds: at the regional branch of the FSS, the My Documents center, your personal account on the website or by Russian Post. In the case of registration of compensation, you will need a bank account number or card of the national payment system “Mir”, as well as documentary evidence of expenses.

The new rules will help citizens who have temporarily moved to the capital from another region. For example, they study, work or undergo long-term treatment in Moscow.

The provision of public services in the centers “My Documents” is carried out on an extraterritorial basis within the capital.

98 percent of services in the centers “My Documents” are provided to visitors on an extraterritorial basis. In offices, it is necessary to observe the glove-and-mask regime. Regional centers of public services are open to visitors from 08:00 to 20:00, flagship offices and the Palace at VDNKh – from 10:00 to 22:00.
