The project will help newcomers to adapt faster, and current employees to improve their qualifications.

Virtual reality technologies for training inspectors began to be applied in State Inspection for Control over the Use of Real Estate Objects of the City of Moscow… Using VR simulators, you can practice key professional skills and recreate working conditions.

“With the help of a VR system, one can virtually walk along a Moscow street, inspect a business center, shop or cafe. The panoramic format and 360 degree view gives you a complete feeling of being on the object. For effective learning in a virtual environment, various working situations are simulated as realistically as possible: building survey, unauthorized construction, monitoring compliance with the requirements for the placement of seasonal cafes, interaction with owners and tenants. The project will help newcomers adapt more quickly and develop the necessary skills and abilities, improve the qualifications of existing employees, learn to manage conflict situations, effectively identify violations in land and property relations and make our city even safer, “said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property land relations

Vladimir Efimov.

The department actively uses modern technologies in its work – software algorithms, quadcopters and artificial intelligence. The use of VR technologies in employee training was the next step in the development of this strategy.

For research, the inspector can choose the appropriate tool: a tablet for photographing buildings or a rangefinder for measuring the parameters of a building.

“In case of revealing signs of unauthorized construction, the inspector will be able to conduct a dialogue with 3D characters who play the role of property owners, as well as using the joystick to virtually use the certificate and give them an order to eliminate the violation. Scenarios allow for different scenarios, and the inspector must choose the correct version, the correct answer. At the same time, additional characters – passers-by on the street, animals, birds – will help create the most realistic urban environment, ”said the head of the State Inspection for Real Estate

Vladislav Ovchinsky

After training, participants will receive an assessment of their decisions and actions in the proposed situations. Special simulators were developed at the Moscow City University of Management of the Moscow Government.
