On the Day of Defender of the Fatherland, servicemen of the combined arms army of the Western Military District visited a unique ship of the Russian fleet – the floating museum “Goto Predestination” in the city of military glory Voronezh.

On an exact prototype of the original, launched in 1700, the military learned about the way of life of the ship’s crew, the historical uniform and weapons of the 18th century, as well as dioramas of naval battles. During the tour of the first battleship, the servicemen were accompanied by professional guides.

Afterwards, the servicemen, together with the rector of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh, Father Nikolai Domuschi, visited the oldest surviving church in Voronezh – the Assumption Admiralty Church, in which the first Voronezh Bishop Mitrofan performed services in honor of launching ships.

In total, about 500 servicemen of the combined arms army of the Western Military District, stationed in Voronezh, visited the oldest temple in Voronezh and the ship-museum.
