The regional stage of the competition was attended by 30 women serving sentences in the Irkutsk region. The winner was a convict serving a sentence in IK-11 (Bozoi, Ekhirit-Bulagat region). The participant will represent the Irkutsk region at the All-Russian competition “Come on, girls!”

A video recording of the performance of a participant representing correctional colony No. 11 was sent to the All-Russian competition in the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. In the video, the woman told about herself and about her homeland of Yakutia in verses that she herself wrote.

The participant also demonstrated her artistic talent – she drew a beautiful picture with a simple pencil and showed a large author’s portrait that adorns one of the walls of the colony. For the culinary competition, the participant baked garlic cakes, the recipe for which she learned from a friend. For the fashion show competition, the woman sewed an elegant evening dress with a simple cut. All participants of the competition were rewarded for their responsible approach and preparation.

Recall that the competition is held by the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in order to improve the moral and cultural level of convicts, as well as to organize their leisure time, to form interest in family values, to unite the collective of convicts, develop creative abilities and prevent offenses. The results of the competition will traditionally be summed up in March at the Department of educational, social and psychological work of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.
