In Leningradskaya, more than 300 congratulations on their professional holiday were received by the members of the sponsored Yunarmey detachments of the military army of the Western Military District.

Festive performances and thematic contests were organized for motorized riflemen, anti-aircraft gunners and artillerymen. Representatives of the military-patriotic movement handed the servicemen holiday cards, drawings, and read poems of their own.

In connection with the sanitary and epidemiological situation in some municipalities of the region, the servicemen received video greetings and postcards from the Yunarmeys.

Yunarmiya is an all-Russian children’s and youth military-patriotic public movement, created in January 2016. The movement’s co-founders are: DOSAAF of Russia, the Veteran Public Organization of the Armed Forces of Russia, CSKA Moscow, as well as Valentina Tereshkova and Valery Vostrotin.
