Last week, two freestyle competitions in the mogul discipline were held at the Krasnoye Ozero GLK in the Leningrad Region. First, the all-Russian competition “Cup of the Governor of St. Petersburg” took place, and then the third stage of the Cup of Russia took place.

Private of the CSKA sports company Mikhail Aleinikov showed the third result (79.13 points) in the men’s competition at the St. Petersburg Governor’s Cup in freestyle in the “mogul” discipline, held in the Leningrad Region. Nikita Andreev took the lead with 81.26 points. Nikita Parkachev climbed to the second step of the podium, gaining 80.28 points.

At the third stage of the Russian Freestyle Cup in the “mogul” discipline, Mikhail improved his result and, gaining 80.29 points, became the second among men, losing only to Nikita Andreev, who received 82.53 points. Sergey Leontiev closed the top three with 79.62 points.

Recently it became known that thanks to the results shown, Aleinikov joined the Russian national team for the World Freestyle Championship in the disciplines “mogul” and “double mogul”, which will be held from March 8 to 11 in Alma-Ata, as well as the final World Cup, which will be held there on March 13-14.
