“Our unique festival this year will celebrate its first significant anniversary. Every year “Russian Field” presents its admirers, including Muscovites, guests from the regions of Russia and abroad, the wealth, diversity and originality of Slavic culture in all its manifestations. The improvement in the epidemiological situation and the increasing vaccination rate give us hope that this summer we will be able to hold an event in an offline format, which will give everyone the opportunity to fully enjoy the holiday. An incredibly colorful event awaits us in August, which will delight and surprise both adults and children, ”said the head of the Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of Moscow
Until March 30, the organizing committee accepts applications from the participating regions, which, by tradition, will compete for the main prize in such nominations as “Best Choral Group”, “Best Choreographic Group”, “Best Instrumental Group”, “Best Folk Master” and others.
Every summer “Russian Field” unites people from all over Russia. Last year, due to the epidemiological situation, the festival was held online. Despite the new format, the event became unique in terms of the number of participants who contacted Moscow. The broadcast was watched by more than three million people. For the first time, their delegations were represented by four regions of the Russian Federation (Kamchatka Territory, Sakhalin Region, Republic of Adygea and the Republic of Dagestan) and four foreign states (Armenia, Austria, Poland and Estonia). By tradition, the Republic of Belarus took part in the holiday.
