The Government Coordination Center, created for the prompt resolution of regular and emergency situations, as well as to support the implementation of priority strategic tasks and projects, will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. His candidacy for this position was approved by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The decree on the establishment of the Coordination Center was signed on February 12. The new structure will ensure the interaction of federal ministries and departments, regions and organizations in real time – current tasks increasingly require the Government to react quickly in the process of analyzing the situation and making decisions.

It is also planned to implement a model of proactive response to possible problems in various sectors of the economy and social sphere at the site of the Coordination Center. In fact, a fundamentally new format of work will be introduced, which has not previously been used in the public administration system.

The activities of the Coordination Center will be based on modern digital technologies. In particular, we are talking about an incident management system, a risk management system for the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation, a multichannel feedback system from citizens, and a system for analyzing streaming data.

Big data required to fulfill the tasks facing the Coordination Center will come in real time, including from state information systems of various levels and open sources, with the provision of quality control of the incoming information.

In fact, the Coordination Center will become an interdepartmental expert and analytical digital platform that will support the Government’s adoption of operational measures in real time, facilitate the development of proposals on strategic goals and mechanisms for implementing priority tasks, and also provide direct management of the implementation of approved decisions.

The document will be published later.
