Kindergartens, schools, healthcare and sports facilities will be built in the east of Moscow under the renovation program. New infrastructure will appear in the Perovo area, said the head of the Department of Urban Development Policy of the city of Moscow Sergey Levkin.

“One of the criteria for a comfortable environment can be considered the provision of development with the required number of social infrastructure facilities. Three territorial planning projects have been developed for the renovation quarters of the Perovo district. According to them, it is planned to build seven kindergartens for 1400 children, four general education schools for 1150 places, a children’s clinic for 320 visits per shift, a health care facility and two sports and recreation complexes. Taken together, this should provide social facilities for both the participants of the renovation program and all residents of Perov, ”said Sergei Levkin.

The head of the Department clarified that 15 launch sites have been selected in Perov, some of them will be used already at the first stage of the renovation program. The city authorities plan to provide new housing to 5,000 residents living in 29 houses by 2024. In total, 196 residential buildings with a total area of ​​more than 700 thousand square meters are to be dismantled in the district.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. Thanks to her, 350 thousand Moscow families – more than a million people – will be able to improve the quality of life. 489 launch sites have already been selected.

98 residential buildings with a total area of ​​1.2 million square meters have already been built in Moscow. Another 277 houses with a total area of ​​4.5 million square meters are at the design and construction stage.
