In total, 77 kilometers of roads are planned to be put into operation in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas by 2023.

In Troitsk, the construction of the main street has begun, along which public transport will run. The routes will connect the Zarechye region with the central part of the settlement and the Kaluzhskoe highway. There will also be a road that will extend Oktyabrsky Avenue from the north to Kaluzhskoe highway.

“We have started to implement one of the stages in the development of the city’s street and road network. It involves the reconstruction of Zarechnaya Street, part of Gorodskaya Street and Tekstilshchikov Street. This will allow organizing the movement of buses here. The next step within the framework of the same measures will be the creation of an additional exit to Kaluzhskoe highway in the northern part of the city by extending Oktyabrsky prospect. The main task is to ensure transport accessibility of social facilities in Troitsk and a convenient exit from residential areas to Kaluzhskoe highway, ”said the head of the Department for the Development of New Territories of Moscow

Vladimir Zhidkin.

A modern four-lane highway will connect the northern part of Oktyabrsky Prospekt with Kaluzhskoye Highway. It will stretch through Sadovaya and Academician Khariton streets, connecting them. The length of the future road is 1.5 kilometers, along which the builders will install noise screens.

Vladimir Zhidkin noted that the total length of the constructed roads and reconstructed streets will be about three kilometers. In addition, new bus stops and seven traffic lights will appear, and sidewalks will be equipped for pedestrians. The project also provides for the construction of an underground pedestrian crossing and a bridge over the Desna River. The commissioning of facilities is scheduled for 2022.

The first section of the renewed road network of Troitsk was opened at the end of 2020. Then the specialists extended Oktyabrsky Prospekt from the south along Akademika Cherenkov Street, reconstructed Dalnaya Street and equipped a roundabout. In general, the work will take place in three stages, during which they will build and reconstruct five streets and create new exits to Kaluzhskoe highway. All sites are planned to be commissioned in 2023.

Since the new territories were joined to the capital, more than 250 kilometers of highways have been built in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas. Until 2023, according to the Moscow Targeted Investment Program, it is planned to introduce another 77 kilometers of highways in the districts.

Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Andrey Bochkarevstressed that the transport infrastructure is developing not only in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas. According to him, since 2011, over 1000 kilometers of roads and more than 540 transport structures and pedestrian crossings have been built in Moscow.

“In addition, 15 outbound highways and 18 interchanges on the Moscow Ring Road have been reconstructed. Active construction of transport facilities in the capital continues, ”added the Deputy Mayor.
