In Kaluga, a regional competition in bullet shooting from a small-bore rifle “Excellent shooter” was held, dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day.

The traditional and popular among young people tournament was organized by the chairman of the regional branch of DOSAAF of the Kaluga region Sergey Kuzminsky, his deputy Viktor Drozdov and the head of the sports and shooting club DOSAAF Fedor Korotky.

Members of 28 teams of youth soldiers, cadets, Cossack youth, military patriotic detachments and clubs of the region competed for the honorary title “Excellent Shooter”. To achieve this title, the participants had to not only demonstrate their accuracy, knocking out 80 or more out of 100 possible points, but also to pass the test for knowledge of the rules of safe handling of weapons and material parts of sports and hand-held small arms, as well as to fulfill the standards for disassembly. assembling a Kalashnikov assault rifle.

During the competition, the girls were in no way inferior to the boys – neither in bullet shooting, nor in handling a machine gun.

The winner in the rifle exercise with a score of 90 points was Valeria Savosina, a junior from the Balabanovo secondary school No. 1. Among the young men Muhammadyusuf Sharipov, a junior from the Voskresensk secondary school of the Kirov region, took the lead. He showed the result 91 points.

48% of the participants in the competition fulfilled the standards “Excellent shooter”, passed the test by testing, disassembling and assembling the Kalashnikov assault rifle and were awarded the title of DOSAAF Russia “Excellent Shooter” with the presentation of the badge and certificate.

The team victory in the competition was won by the Yunarmeys of Kaluga School No. 50, and the prize company was made up of representatives of the Rodnik military-patriotic club and members of the military-patriotic detachment of the Kaluga College of Economics and Technology.
