On March 3, the final stage of the IV beauty contest, professional and aesthetic skills among female military personnel of the Airborne Forces “Beauty of the Airborne Forces – 2021” took place.
Members of the jury, including the director of the All-Russian beauty festival “Beauty of Russia” Tatyana Andreeva-Falk, composer, poet, music producer, Honored Artist of Russia Denis Maidanov, eleven-time European champion, five-time world champion, two-time Olympic champion, first vice-president of the Federation of jumping in water, Honored Master of Sports of Russia Dmitry Sautin, champion of Russia, world champion in boxing according to WBA (2012-2018) and IBF (2016) Denis Lebedev and other invited guests awarded the winners of the competition in various nominations.
The finalists of the beauty contest were awarded with certificates and valuable prizes from the command of the Airborne Forces, the organizers of the contest and sponsors.
In the “Power of arms” nomination, the victory was won by Guard Private Alena Koltsova from the Ivanovo airborne unit. In the nomination “Magic Culinary” there was no equal to the Guard Junior Sergeant Yulia Lukyanenko, representing the Novorossiysk airborne assault mountain unit of the Airborne Forces. In the “Couturier” nomination, a representative jury determined the winner of the stage – Guard Corporal Valeria Titova.
Private Anastasia Kutenkova from the Airborne Forces unit stationed in Buryatia presented her business card best of all to the Guard.
“Miss Charm” among the participants was awarded to the contestant from Primorye to the guard corporal Yulia Krylova, and the title “Miss Grace” according to the results of the competition was awarded to the guard ensign Arina Budykina from the Kamyshinsky airborne assault unit.
The Audience Award was awarded to Junior Sergeant Evgenia Belyavskaya from the Training Center (training of junior airborne troops) from Omsk.
Guard Senior Lieutenant of the Medical Service Daria Svetyash was recognized as the “Queen of the Ball”, and the youngest participant – a cadet of the Ryazan Guards Higher Airborne Command School named after General of the Army V.F. Margelova Guard Junior Sergeant Karina Bespalova.
The Commander of the Airborne Forces, Colonel-General Andrei Serdyukov, solemnly presented the crown of the winner of a serviceman of the special forces of the Airborne Forces of the Guard to Junior Sergeant Yulia Merkina, who, according to the results of all stages, became the winner of the competition.
The first vice-miss of “Beauty of the Airborne Forces-2021” in the competitive struggle was a serviceman of the command of the Airborne Forces of the Guard, corporal Anna Kukushkina from the Medvezhye Ozero near Moscow.
The title of the second vice-miss “Beauty of the Airborne Forces-2021” was won by the guard corporal Irina Danilova from the Guards airborne assault unit of the Airborne Forces from Pskov.
The competition is dedicated to International Women’s Day and is timed to the upcoming 91st anniversary of the formation of the troops and was first held on the basis of the Avangard Training and Methodological Center for Military-Patriotic Education on the territory of the Patriot Military-Patriotic Culture and Recreation Park of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in period from February 25 to March 3.
