The commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Vice Admiral Igor Osipov, congratulated women on International Women’s Day on March 8.

The solemn event took place in the House of Officers of the Black Sea Fleet. At the entrance, each woman was given flowers by the servicemen.

The holiday began with congratulations to all women by the Commander of the Black Sea Fleet, during which awards and valuable gifts were presented to the best female military personnel.

During the solemn speech, Vice Admiral Igor Osipov highlighted the merits of women from among the medical personnel who are at the forefront of the fight against the new coronavirus infection.

The event ended with a festive concert with the performance of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Black Sea Fleet, as well as the creative teams of Sevastopol.

The solemn meeting was held in compliance with the anti-epidemic recommendations in force in the region.
