In the Leningrad Region, servicemen of the communications brigade of the combined arms army of the Western Military District, within the framework of a special exercise, worked out ensuring timely and uninterrupted data transmission in conditions of active electronic suppression by a conventional enemy.

During the exercise, the servicemen moved to the concentration area, where they deployed field command posts and standard communications equipment, and made their camouflage. To ensure the transfer of information from the leadership to subordinate units, the signal troops used a modern communications complex that had recently entered the troops – the ISS-P.

In addition, the actions of the military were complicated by attacks by sabotage and reconnaissance groups, as well as by the enemy conducting reconnaissance from the air using unmanned aerial vehicles.

More than 100 servicemen and about 20 units of military equipment from communications units were involved in the exercise.

MKS-P is a multifunctional communications complex designed to transmit information under the active influence of electronic suppression of the enemy, to create closed video and audio conferencing for an unlimited range.
