Crews of small missile ships (MRK) “Sovetsk” and “Mytishchi” of the Baltic Fleet carried out artillery fire at targets simulating air attack means of a simulated enemy.

As part of the planned combat training event, the crews conducted trainings to repel attacks by “enemy” air attack weapons moving from different heights and directions, with the execution of artillery fire.

To ensure firing, special light targets were used, at which the crews of the ships carried out practical firing from the shipborne complexes AK-176MA and AK-630M.

After firing at air targets, the MRK crews completed the task of destroying floating mines using 30-mm artillery systems.

In addition, within the framework of going to sea, specialists from missile and artillery combat units worked out strikes with cruise missiles at sea and coastal targets with the implementation of electronic missile launches.
