All-army stages of the ARMI-2021 “Tank Biathlon” and “Suvorov Onslaught” competitions will be held in May at the interspecific training ground of the Central Military District training ground in the Chelyabinsk region.

As part of the competition, tankers and motorized riflemen will hold an individual race and several relay stages. Crews of T-72 tanks and BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles will demonstrate their skill in controlling a combat vehicle, as well as accuracy in firing from primary and secondary weapons: cannons and machine guns.

Each team consists of four crews, a coaching group and a technical support department.

For the all-army stages of “Tank Biathlon” and “Suvorov Onslaught” of ARMI-2021, the sections of the interspecific training ground were modernized. First of all, the changes affected the target field: to improve the tactical situation, new dynamic targets with automatic control systems were installed. A separate novelty of the target fund is the rapidly rising targets imitating attack helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles. These types of targets will be used when practicing shooting from large-caliber and tank machine guns in the course of competitive tasks.
