Among them are students of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow City University of Management of the Government of Moscow, Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman, the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, Financial College No. 35 and the Moscow College of Business Technologies.
The guys have successfully passed testing and analyzed cases based on life situations. As the captain of the FinUniver team of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation Nikita Bondarenko noted, the tasks were not easy, but the most difficult stage was the presentation of the solution to the case to the opponent team. At the moment, the FinUniver team has entered the top five strongest contenders for victory.
“We calculated and assessed how profitable certain financial products are for a particular family. Our opponent was a team from St. Petersburg. We managed to competently answer all their questions and defend our point of view. Thus, we got a ticket to the next stage of the competition, – he noted. – We have serious rivals. They are very well prepared, but we also do not doubt our strength. “
In 2020, Nikita Bondarenko won at the regional and all-Russian stages of the “Budget for Citizens” project competition in the “Budget and National Projects” nomination. Also among the participants of the II All-Russian Championship in Financial Literacy is Vadim Merkulov, twice winner of the regional stage of the “Budget for Citizens” project competition (2019 and 2020). He represents the Start-Up Team from College # 35.
Start of the II All-Russian Championship in Financial Literacy was given in January this year… The main goal of the competition is to increase the level of financial literacy of schoolchildren and students, as well as to develop their team and managerial qualities.
The tournament is held online. Teams of four age categories compete for the title of champions of Russia in financial literacy: students in grades 6-8, grades 9-11, college and university students. The guys have to overcome several rounds of communication and financial battles.
Initially, 1088 applications were submitted for participation in the championship from different regions of Russia, including 35 from Moscow.
