Decisions on the results of a trip to the Altai Territory

The Ministry of Education has two weeks to prepare proposals for additional support for teachers who have moved to work in villages and small towns. Such an order was given by the Chairman of the Government Mikhail Mishustin following the results of his working trip to the Altai Territory. The task must be completed by April 1st.

A significant part of the list of instructions is devoted to education issues. So, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Finance should work out the issue of implementing a project for the construction of two schools in the Altai Territory within the framework of the mechanism of public-private partnership.

The Ministry of Digital Science and the Ministry of Education, together with the regional leadership, are obliged, as a matter of priority, to provide Internet connectivity for the Bolshetikhin Primary School and the Chistoozersk Secondary School of the Zavyalovsky District. The deadline for the execution of the order is September 1.

The Ministry of Education was also instructed to equip Barnaul School No. 53 with the necessary equipment as part of a project to introduce a digital educational environment.

All these issues were discussed during the meeting of Mikhail Mishustin with the teachers of the Altai Territory and visiting school No. 53.

Another block of instructions concerns the development of the production potential of the region. The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance will have to work out mechanisms to support companies that are engaged in the manufacture of components for the automotive industry by April 15, and decide whether it is possible to increase financial assistance to manufacturers of agricultural machinery. In addition, the ministries were instructed to provide additional funds for preferential leasing of equipment for light industry by May 31.

By May 31, the Ministry of Industry and Trade also needs to inform enterprises engaged in additive technologies (3D printing) about the existing measures of state support and involve them in developing a strategy for the development of the industry for the next 10 years.

Mikhail Mishustin visited Altai Territory on March 2… This subject became the first region in the working trip of the Chairman of the Government to the Siberian Federal District.

The region is one of the ten territories for which a special individual program of socio-economic development has been developed. Each year, 1 billion rubles are allocated for the implementation of the program. Support measures are aimed at improving the quality of life and developing the economic potential of the territories.

The Prime Minister visits such entities on working trips to personally check how the individual development programs are being implemented and to find out what other assistance the region needs.

Later, Mikhail Mishustin also visited the Altai Republic, Tyva Republic, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions.
