In general, about 100 educational facilities will be built in the capital by 2023.

In the area of ​​the Mnevniki transport interchange hub (TPU), a secondary school for 800 children and two kindergartens for 225 and 125 children will be built. The head told about it Moscow City Construction Department Rafik Zagrutdinov.

“In the near future, we plan to start designing, construction is planned to be completed in 2023,” the head of the department said.

Each kindergarten is equipped with a music and multifunctional gymnasium, as well as classrooms for developing classes, including with a speech therapist and a psychologist. The layout of some of the premises can be changed using partitions. The workplaces of the administration, music director, physical education teacher and other specialists will be located in the open space.

The school building will have classrooms for programming and a foreign language, as well as a single space for studying natural sciences.

During the design and construction of facilities in Moscow, the principles of a modern educational environment are observed. Thus, schools and kindergartens are becoming a single and accessible space for all children, while everyone should have the opportunity to work independently. The classrooms are made multifunctional, the corridors are expanded and the recreation areas are equipped. In addition, Wi-Fi will be available in all premises.

“Educational institutions are being actively built in Moscow. In total, about 100 new schools and kindergartens will be built in the city by 2023, ”added Rafik Zagrutdinov.

Already in 2021, 15 educational facilities will be commissioned. In general now under construction 24 educational facilities for 10,995 places (seven preschool institutions, 17 schools and outbuildings).

TPU “Mnevniki” will be created on the basis of the station “Karamyshevskaya” of the Big Circle Metro Line. It is being built in the northern part of the Mnevnikovskaya floodplain. The TPU will include residential, sports, public-business and social facilities. It is expected that the transport hub will be used by up to 70 thousand passengers per day
