The first stage of a tactical exercise with the Dmitry Donskoy Guards Airborne Regiment of the Tula Guards Airborne Formation ended at the Dubrovichi training ground in the Ryazan Region.

During the stage, the units of the parachute regiment worked out the issues of organizing the landing and combat.

After being brought to the highest degree of readiness, the subdivisions of the regiment made an exit to the specified area, where they carried out priority measures to locate, organize security, defense and camouflage control points of the regiment and battalions, where they began to plan combat actions and organize interaction in order to fulfill the assigned tasks …

In addition, the personnel carried out the preparation of equipment for the upcoming actions (additional loading of ammunition, receipt of material resources, additional packing, if necessary, of human parachutes, maintenance of weapons and military equipment, installation of parachute systems on airborne equipment).

In the course of organizing the upcoming actions, the commander of the guard formation, Colonel Yevgeny Tonkikh, noted the high training of commanders of all levels and personnel of soldiers and sergeants in the preparation of command posts, weapons, military and special equipment.

In total, more than 1,200 servicemen and about 200 units of military and special equipment of the Guards parachute regiment of the Tula Guards Airborne Force, 3 Il-76md military transport aircraft, as well as ground attack and army aircraft and helicopters were involved in the exercise.
