In the formations and military units of the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District, stationed in the Amur Region, Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomy, the readiness of the created flood control groups was checked. The measures were caused by abnormal temperature changes in regions with steady warming earlier than predicted.

The combined units were raised on a drill and withdrawn to the designated areas. Some of the units were checked using a conditional emergency. Military engineers conducted reconnaissance of the ice situation near bridges and hydraulic structures.

Other practical training sessions were also provided as intended. All inspected units met the standards and fulfilled the assigned tasks.

Currently, the association includes more than 300 servicemen and about 50 pieces of equipment as part of the consolidated flood control groups.
