The event was opened by the head of the University Alexander Krymov. A video congratulation from the director of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia Alexander Kalashnikov sounded from the screen.

Then Alexander Alexandrovich congratulated the entire staff on the holiday, expressed gratitude to the veterans and employees of the penal system for their dedication and loyalty to their chosen profession, courage and honesty, wishing everyone well-being, kindness, and success in their activities for the good of Russia.

– Today we are especially grateful to those who have worked in this educational institution for 26 years! It was the work of veterans that became the basis for the creation of our University. We must train highly professional personnel for the penal system and educate real officers, real patriots of our Motherland! These days we are laying the traditions of a new educational institution. Together we can handle everything! – emphasized in his speech Alexander Krymov.

Olga Arishina, Oleg Skomorokh, Alexander Volokh said many kind words to the staff and veterans of the University of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.

Then the staff of the University for their special contribution to the development and formation of the university and the penal system as a whole were awarded departmental awards of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, awards on behalf of the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, awards of the Committee on Law, Law and Order and Security, the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg , awards of the St. Petersburg Metropolitanate of the Russian Orthodox Church.

As part of the event, young employees took the Oath of a Penitentiary System Officer. In a solemn atmosphere, they were presented with certificates of employees of the University of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.

The event ended with a big festive concert, which was attended by creative teams and artists from St. Petersburg and different parts of Russia.

A bright and memorable gift for all personnel was the creative congratulation of the soloists of the Central Orchestra of the FSIN of Russia – Marina Sudas, Anna Demyanova, Edward Khacharyan. For more than 20 years, the Central Orchestra of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia has been a constant participant in all ceremonial and cultural events of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.

In conclusion, the audience gave a standing ovation to the artists.

– This is the first UIS Worker Day in the history of the University, and it will go down in the history of the university together with those who today shared this solemn and memorable holiday with the staff! – Alexander Krymov thanked all the participants of the event at the end.
