In the educational colony of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Arkhangelsk Region, an open day was held for media representatives. This time, the employees of the institution told reporters how educational work with convicted juveniles was organized.
Employees use adolescent creativity to help them get on the path to improvement. On the initiative of the chiefs of the detachment, a musical group was created in the educational colony. On the next rehearsal and was able to visit the film crew of the TV channel “Region 29”.
The guys told how they learn to play various instruments and the basics of vocal art. Employees help the pupils learn various songs, including modern ones, and give recommendations. Boys appreciate such a non-standard pedagogical approach, and they are more and more immersed in musical creativity.
Another of the important points, which was told to journalists at the institution, was the research work of adolescents, carried out within the framework of the won grant for patriotic activities. The guys, with the help of the active support of the employees, are engaged in the creation of the Alley of Memory of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War. Already today, the institution has a museum and an obelisk, which also appeared thanks to grants with the participation of the pupils themselves. To implement a new idea, they are looking for the necessary material, study the necessary literature and make models of the future Alley.
– Educational work with adolescents in our institution is, first of all, a chance for them to find themselves. Sports, music, theater, assistance in the construction of any objects – the guys can try everything and continue to be realized in this direction, – commented Andrey Gusev, deputy head of the Arkhangelsk VC.
