In Khamovniki, a major overhaul of a brick eight-story residential building, built in 1961 according to a standard design, will be carried out. The project documentation has already been approved by the experts.
“The work will be carried out within the framework of the regional program for the overhaul of common property in multi-apartment residential buildings in the city of Moscow,” said the chairman
The project provides for the renovation of common areas. Specialists will plaster and paint ceilings, door and window slopes, and replace anti-slip ceramic tiles. In the vestibules of the entrances, metal doors with door closers will be installed, metal fences of inter-storey stairs will be painted.
Specialists will repair the roof, attic, basement and waste disposal system. In addition, the facade of the building will be updated. Workers will carry out antifungal treatment, replace window sills and flag holders. On the balconies, the bottom and side of the concrete slabs will be plastered and painted, the metal railings will be painted and the screens replaced. The existing layout of the living quarters will remain intact.
The project also provides for the repair of power supply, heating, water supply and sewerage systems. The duration of the overhaul will be 10.5 months.
The regional program for the overhaul of common property in apartment buildings has been implemented in the capital since 2015. Today it includes more than 28 thousand houses with a total area of more than 260 million square meters. As part of the program, specialists are putting in order the water and gas supply systems, heating, sewerage and electrical systems, and replacing garbage chutes and elevators. Also, basements, entrances, foundations, facades, roofs, fire water pipes and fire-fighting automation of buildings are being repaired. Over the period from 2015 to 2020, more than nine thousand apartment buildings were renovated under this program.
