The second stage of the Tank Biathlon and Suvorov Onslaught competitions within the framework of the International Army Games (ARMI-2021) started at the combined arms formation of the Central Military District in Siberia. Competitions are held among servicemen of motorized rifle and tank units.

As part of the competition, the crews shoot at targets from the armament of T-72B3M tanks and BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles at maximum ranges, temporarily overcome the route with natural and artificial obstacles: a mound, a fire strip, an anti-tank ditch with a passage.

The accuracy of overcoming obstacles and shooting is controlled from video cameras on the track, sensors on targets and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The best crews will represent the combined arms formation at the district stage of the competitions, which will be held in April in the Chelyabinsk region.

In total, about 200 servicemen from motorized rifle and tank units, as well as more than 30 units of military equipment, are involved in the competition.
