The final stage has started All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren… More than 2,200 students from more than 300 metropolitan schools have been invited to it. The children will be received in 15 regions of the country. The final stage will last until April 30. Competitions in chemistry and economics will be held first.
Participants of the regional stage who have collected the required number of points are invited to the final. Since the final stage of the Olympiad was not held in 2020 due to the pandemic, by the decision of the central organizing committee, pupils of the 9-10th grades of last year, who then scored a passing score based on the results of the regional stage, were also invited to the final. In addition, the winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the 2018/2019 academic year, who continue their studies at school, can participate.
According to the supervisor Center for ExcellenceIvan Yashchenko, Moscow schoolchildren took their preparation seriously.
“The final of the All-Russian Olympiad is a serious and responsible competition. The strongest guys from all over the country, who have passed the most difficult selection, become participants in this stage. We believe in the success of the Moscow guys, because, despite the pandemic, preparations for the Olympics continued online. And the high results at the regional stage testify to the deep knowledge of Muscovites. We invite everyone to cheer for our guys. And I remind you that schoolchildren who have shown themselves in such a serious competition are in demand in the best universities in Moscow, and then in leading modern companies, ”noted Ivan Yashchenko.
He also said that Moscow actively cooperates with the regions and the Sirius educational center, and shares methodological developments with colleagues. Therefore, the level of knowledge of all participants in the final stage is always very high.

The All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren is held annually for students in grades 4-11 in 24 subjects. Among them are mathematics, Russian, English, astronomy, biology, geography, computer science, Spanish, history, Italian, Chinese, literature, MHC and many others. The competitions are held in four stages: school, municipal, regional and final. Winners and awardees of the final stage can enter without exams in any Russian university in areas corresponding to the profile of the Olympiad.
