As part of the events dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Submarine Fleet, a photo exhibition dedicated to the Submarine Forces of the Pacific Fleet was opened in the city of Vilyuchinsk.

The photo exhibition became a joint project of the command of the Pacific Fleet’s Submarine Forces and the editorial office of the Tikhookeanskaya Vakhta newspaper of the Troops and Forces in the North-East of Russia and is aimed at generating interest of visitors to the profession of a submariner.

The exposition contains photographs that capture the brightest and most significant events in the life of the submarine association of the Pacific Fleet in recent years, including the performance by submarines of missions at sea, their participation in the largest exercises of the Navy.

The first visitors to the exhibition were the members of the crew of the strategic nuclear submarine missile cruiser “Alexander Nevsky”. Veterans of the RF Armed Forces living in the city of submariners also showed great interest in the exhibition. The photo exhibition is open to all residents of Kamchatka.
