The second batch of 2,260 doses of Gam-COVID-Vac vaccine against coronavirus infection was delivered by air to the 201st military base of the Russian Federation in Tajikistan. For transportation, military medics used special containers to comply with the cold chain.

The next batch of the drug is intended for servicemen of the Okno-M space control complex located in the remote mountainous terrain of Tajikistan, and units of the military base stationed in the Bokhtar military town. Employees of kindergartens, schools of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and family members of military personnel will also be vaccinated with two components of the vaccine.

The vaccination will be organized on the basis of the 451st military hospital located on the territory of the 201st Russian military base in Dushanbe.

Before vaccination, military personnel will be interviewed to inform them about coronavirus infection and the effect of the drug on the human body. Vaccination will take place entirely on a voluntary basis. All vaccinated military personnel will be under constant supervision of medical specialists.
