In the Baltic Fleet, as part of the planned camp gathering of missile forces and artillery of the army corps of the Baltic Fleet, live firing from 152-mm Hyacinth cannons and Smerch and Grad multiple launch rocket systems took place at one of the ranges in the Kaliningrad region.

Combat firing was carried out at full-size targets imitating military equipment and engineering fortifications of a conventional enemy. During the active phase of the exercise, the artillerymen of the fleet performed over 20 fire missions from closed firing positions against single and group targets.

Unmanned aerial vehicles were used to correct the conduct of artillery fire on targets imitating military equipment and firing points of a simulated enemy, as well as to assess the situation. As a result of the use of unmanned aircraft, the accuracy of determining the coordinates of targets has significantly increased, and, as a result, the effectiveness of solving firing tasks by artillery crews.

More than 700 servicemen and over 150 units of military equipment of the artillery formation of the BF, artillery units of motorized rifle units of the fleet, as well as the marines are involved in the planned camp collection of artillery of the army corps of the fleet at several ranges in the Kaliningrad region.
