The High Command of the Russian Navy and the SKA Hockey Club signed a cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony took place in St. Petersburg in the building of the Main Admiralty. The agreement was signed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Evmenov and the general director of the club, Andrei Tochitsky, in the presence of SKA vice-president Roman Rotenberg. CSA became the first professional sports club to officially formalize such a partnership with the Navy. In practice, SKA and the Navy have been maintaining partnership relations for several years now. With the participation of the club, hockey projects were implemented in the Northern and Black Sea Fleets, together with the army team, a hockey training program was launched at the St. Petersburg Nakhimov Naval School. The SKA club comprehensively supports the Servicemen’s Hockey League, where several naval teams play at once.

The partnership is aimed at developing mass hockey among the personnel of the Navy. It is planned to create teams in the places of deployment of military units and organizations of the Navy, implement educational programs, and joint sports events.

The agreement also provides for cooperation in improving activities in the field of physical culture and sports, popularizing hockey and military-patriotic education.
