The crews of the missile ships (RK) “Tatarstan” and “Dagestan” of the Caspian flotilla perform a complex of missile firing as part of the delivery of elements of the course task K-2 in the sea ranges of the Caspian Sea.

The personnel of the Republic of Kazakhstan previously worked out the tasks of combat maneuvering, search and detection of sea floating mines, and then destroyed sea targets with fire from the A-190 Universal artillery mount and 14.5-mm MTPU machine-gun mounts. When repelling an air strike from a mock enemy, the sailors used the AK-630-2 “Duet” anti-aircraft artillery systems.

In addition, the crews of the Republic of Kazakhstan carry out the tasks of mine protection of ships, their defense when parked in an unprotected roadstead, as well as a set of measures for working out the tactics of conducting combat operations by single ships.

In the course of naval exercises, the personnel regularly conduct trainings on fighting for the damage of the ship on the move, repelling air strikes and anti-ship missiles of the imaginary enemy.

The analysis and assessment of combat training missions performed at sea will be carried out by the command after the ships return to the flotilla basing points.

For reference:

Coursework K-2 – preparation of the ship for use as intended, the organization of the combat employment of the ship, the use of weapons. Within the framework of the course task, the degree of readiness of the crew and the materiel of each ship is assessed to carry out tasks at sea for their intended purpose, as well as to conduct a single battle in various operational and tactical situations.
