Capital experts will take part in All-Russian week of financial literacy… The annual social and educational event, which runs from March 22 to 28, will help students find answers to questions about planning their personal budget, and parents and teachers to learn more about financial education. The organizer of the week of financial literacy is the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Bank of Russia, and one of the partners is Department of Finance of the city of Moscow… The speakers of the Moscow department are regular participants in the educational marathon. All events of the week are implemented by the Scientific Research Financial Institute (NFI) of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
Thematic courses, lectures and seminars with financial experts, as well as games, contests and discussions are broadcast online on the social network “In contact with”.
During the live broadcast, which will take place on March 24 at 17:00, experts from the Moscow Department of Finance will talk about interesting financial products and instruments, types of deposits and the possibilities of bank cards. Experts will analyze the most popular financial fraud schemes and give advice on how to avoid becoming victims of cybercriminals. Particular attention will be paid to security measures that must be followed when shopping on the Internet.
For the audience, they prepared thematic videos with the participation of employees of the Moscow Department of Finance. In the videos, the speakers will tell you what financial products are available for schoolchildren and how to open a bank account for a child. Representatives of the department will use examples to explain what to do in case of fraud with a bank card, talk about the types of investment and lending.
Within the framework of the All-Russian Week of Financial Literacy, the Moscow Department of Finance has already conducted a training seminar for metropolitan teachersdedicated to modern educational technologies and increasing the level of financial and budget literacy of schoolchildren. The speakers presented their author’s curricula, shared methods and educational resources that may be useful to teachers.
