In the Chelyabinsk branch of the Military Educational and Scientific Center of the Air Force “Air Force Academy named after Professor N.G. Zhukovsky and Yu.A. Gagarin ”held a show of amateur performances dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the establishment of the Navigation Service of the Russian Air Force and the 85th anniversary of the Chelyabinsk Higher Military Aviation School of the Red Banner Navigators.
The large gala concert was attended by creative teams of 1 faculty (training navigators), 2 faculties (combat aviation control and air traffic control) and a training aviation base (2 categories, Chelyabinsk). Only the best numbers were allowed to participate in the final, which passed the selection at the division level.
The main condition for participation in the show was the use in the program of the performance of works dedicated to the navigator’s business and the history of the Chelyabinsk Aviation University. The participants recited poems and prose dedicated to military aviation from the stage, sang songs and dance numbers, the protagonists of which were navigators-heroes of the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation.
Professionals were specially invited to the jury of the show – people representing various creative professions, as well as veterans of the school of navigators. The judges assessed not only the level of preparation of each individual performance, but also the integrity of the presented program, as well as the theme of the works.
According to the results of the show, the creative teams of the 1st faculty were recognized as winners. Future navigators won the largest number of individual nominations. The jury members noted a wide variety of creative performances for all participants of the show.
A special feature of the show this year was the wide participation of family members of military personnel of the branch.
