The fair presents clothes for adults and children, shoes, books, toys, stationery, materials for creativity and much more. First of all, the fair is intended for large families and guardians with disabled children.
For 30 years, this event has been held by the Kirov Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Charitable Foundation “Russian Children’s Fund”, which is engaged in charitable activities aimed at providing material, medical, spiritual and moral assistance to children in need.
And all these years, the Fund has faced a difficult and important task to unite the efforts of state and public organizations, those who are not indifferent to the fate of disadvantaged children, in order to return the joy and carefreeness of childhood to these children deprived of parental care.
This year the employees of the institute, as well as more than 15 organizations, which from year to year help the charitable foundation to organize and carry out similar children’s actions, joined the action.
Employees of the institute, responding to the announcement of the fair, collected stationery, which included notebooks, pens, felt-tip pens, paints, plasticine, coloring books and office supplies.
On the opening day of the fair, the guests were met by Valentina Pavlovna Ivanova – the chairman of the Kirov regional branch of the fund. Under her leadership, charitable programs of the Children’s Fund have been developed, one of which is “Behind Bars – Children’s Eyes”. Within the framework of this program, charitable material assistance and moral assistance are provided to educational colonies for juvenile delinquents and children’s homes in women’s colonies. The Foundation has been drawing public attention to this problem for a long time.
Also, at the end of the meeting with Valentina Pavlovna, issues of joint Christmas holidays, Children’s Day, and Knowledge Day were discussed. Every year the foundation manages to organize holidays for more than 3 thousand children.
