These days are considered the most favorable for starting a family.

On the eve of Krasnaya Gorka, on May 7 and 8, more than 430 couples are planning to get married in Moscow. This was reported in the press service Metropolitan Civil Registry Office.

“Traditionally, it is customary to start the wedding season from Krasnaya Gorka. This year, the holiday fell on May 9, Victory Day – a public holiday and an official day off at the capital’s registry offices. More than 430 couples are planning to get married on the first weekend after Easter, May 7 and 8. The days on the eve of the Krasnaya Gorka holiday are also considered favorable for creating new families. Until April 7, couples have the opportunity to apply, ”the department said.

Ceremonies are planned to be held not only in wedding palaces and registry offices, but also in unusual venues. For the first time in Russia, it will be possible to marry in the air – in the cabin of the cable car on Vorobyovy Gory. To do this, you must have time to submit an application before April 7. They are accepted in any metropolitan registry office or in the Wedding Palace. An application has already been submitted to set the record for the largest number of couples who will marry on the cable car.

“Unique registrations will take place in the cabins of the cable car and will be recorded as a Russian record. Now we are actively accepting applications, ”said the press service of the capital’s Civil Registry Office.

Even these days, it will be possible to get married in the Ostafyevo estate museum, a mansion in Serebryany Bor, in the Ostankino TV tower, Moskvarium, at the Central Hippodrome, the center of arts of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, at the stadium in Luzhniki and in other places. The application must also be submitted by April 7th. But to register a marriage in the Royal mansion and the Moscow Planetarium will not work – all the seats are occupied.

A project that allows you to get married in unusual places appeared in the capital in 2019. Future newlyweds were offered theatrical registrations at 20 venues. At the Moskvarium, for example, ceremonies began with the March of Marine Life show, and at the House of Celebrations on Vorobyovskoye Shosse, marriages were made to the sound of jazz in the style of the novel The Great Gatsby by Francis Scott Fitzgerald.

In total, couples in the capital have already submitted over 28 thousand applications for marriage this year. More and more, newlyweds choose electronic way filing applications.
