Snipers of the mountain motorized rifle unit of the Southern Military District (YuVO) worked out methods of “group hunting” and reconnaissance patrols during a night exercise at the Kobu-Bashi training ground in Karachay-Cherkessia.

Snipers acted one at a time, as part of pairs, groups, and were also attached to reconnaissance and sabotage groups on armored multipurpose tractors operating on the front line in defense and offensive.

During the drawing of the tactical episode, groups of riflemen operating as part of reconnaissance patrols carried out “harassing” actions on the route of movement of convoys of a conditional enemy.

Then the snipers began a “group hunt” in a separate section of the mountainous terrain, destroying all emerging manpower and lightly armored vehicles, remaining unnoticed. Particular attention was paid to the destruction of targets at night and in the morning twilight, as well as the methods of equipment lying, monitoring the assigned sector and covertly leaving the area of ​​the mission.

More than 300 servicemen of the Southern Military District were involved in the event of combat training, about 40 pieces of equipment were involved, including from motorized rifle units and unmanned aircraft crews involved in organizing the exercises.
