On April 9, the street screens of the capital will show the launch of the Soyuz MS-18 spacecraft. The broadcast is timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s space flight.
This launch will mark the 146th manned flight on the Soyuz series spacecraft. It is expected that the mission of the International Space Station crew consisting of Russians Oleg Novitsky, Peter Dubrov and American astronaut Mark Vande Hai will last about six months.
The one and a half minute video will be broadcast on screens located on the facade of the Central Telegraph on Tverskaya Street, as well as on Novy Arbat, the Third Transport Ring in the area of Berezhkovskaya embankment and Nizhnyaya Maslovka, at the entrance to the Zvenigorodskaya overpass in the direction of the center, on the facade of the Expocentre on Krasnopresnenskaya embankment shopping centers with media facades.
Inclusions will take place from 12:00 on April 9th. Announcements of the upcoming space launch show have already appeared on the city’s billboards.
