Accompanied by the head of the regional penitentiary department, Dmitry Tarasov, the inspectors made a tour of the main facilities of the institution: they visited the unit for the maintenance of the pre-trial detention center, the catering unit, the medical unit, as well as the premises of the regime building, paying special attention to the sanitary conditions and temperature conditions in the cells.

In addition, the inspectors talked with convicts and persons under investigation, inquired about the observance of their rights and legitimate interests, the possibility of maintaining socially useful ties, opinions about the quality of food, medical care.

During the visit, special attention was paid to the conditions of detention of women and a minor accused who is currently in the Murmansk remand prison.

At the end of the visit, the persons under investigation were received in person. 7 people applied for various questions.
