In the Strategic Missile Forces, more than 100 best chefs and bakers of missile formations from Krasnoyarsk Territory to Irkutsk Region demonstrated a master class and met in a culinary duel for the right to take part in the final of the Army Reserve-2021 competition.
The most spectacular and “delicious”, of course, were the competitions of representatives of food services. Moreover, the tasks for the teams were far from simple. So, on the first day of the competition, the cooks of the Omsk rocket association had to cook dishes under stationary conditions according to an arbitrary recipe. On the second day – cooking in the field according to the established menu.
Each chef has demonstrated professionalism in the preparation of exquisite dishes of Russian and European cuisine. For the first time, the contestants presented a menu with a record assortment of army dishes, including stews, pilaf, soups, casseroles, schnitzel and even hodgepodge.
The competition consisted of several stages. The servicemen not only showed their skills in cooking, but also demonstrated their skills in shooting from standard weapons, meeting the standards for physical training. The culinary competition itself consisted of two stages, cooking in a stationary kitchen and in the field.
According to the results of the competition, three winners were determined who will take part in the title of the best military chef of the Strategic Missile Forces.
