Servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh ensured the delivery of humanitarian aid provided by Russian public organizations and charitable foundations to the city of Stepanakert.

During the humanitarian actions held the day before, Russian peacekeepers, together with representatives of the Russian Humanitarian Mission and the Doctor Liza and Haste to Goodness charitable foundations, delivered more than 50 items of medical equipment and consumables to the Stepanakert city hospital. Including – defibrillators, electrocardiograph, disposable sheets, face masks, antiseptics and other medical equipment.

In addition to doctors, gifts from Russia were received by pupils of secondary school No. 3 named after V.I. A.S. Griboyedov in Stepanakert. The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent delivered more than 350 books to teachers and pupils of the school – textbooks, fiction and board games, handed over on behalf of students of secondary schools in Moscow and their parents.

In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 Moscow time on November 10 this year. a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh have been declared.

A peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation has been deployed to control the ceasefire and military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The core of the Russian contingent is made up of units of the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade (peacekeeping) of the Central Military District.
