73 indoor skating rinks equipped with all-season cooling systems will continue to operate.

In the capital, skating rinks with artificial ice will be closed until March 26. This is due to the fact. Warm weather in the city.

In total, more than 140 artificial ice sites will be completed. All equipment will be removed, temporary structures and cooling systems will be disassembled and mothballed until the next winter season. The sites, which were filled with ice, will be switched to summer operation. The dismantling is scheduled to be fully completed by April 5th.

A further 73 indoor skating rinks will be available as they are equipped with all-season cooling systems. They are mainly located in large shopping and leisure and sports centers.

In total, in the winter period of 2020–2021, about 1.4 thousand skating rinks operated in the capital, of which almost 1.2 thousand were with natural ice cover. These sites closed even earlier, when heat began to return to the city.
