Tatyana Golikova held a meeting of the operational headquarters to prevent the importation and spread of a new coronavirus infection in Russia.
Based on the results of the discussion, taking into account the epidemiological situation in individual countries and in agreement with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, a decision was made to resume on a reciprocal basis from April 1, 2021, regular international flights with Venezuela (Moscow – Caracas twice a week), Syria (Moscow – Damascus once a week), Tajikistan (Moscow – Dushanbe once a week), Uzbekistan (Moscow – Tashkent once a week) and Sri Lanka (Moscow – Colombo once a week). Also, from April 1, in agreement with the aviation authorities of Germany on a reciprocal basis, regular flights will be resumed on the routes Frankfurt-am-Main – Moscow – Frankfurt-am-Main five times a week, Frankfurt-am-Main – St. Petersburg – Frankfurt -Maine three times a week, Moscow – Berlin – Moscow five times a week and Moscow – Frankfurt am Main – Moscow three times a week.
In addition, it was decided to increase from April 1 the number of regular flights from Cuba (up to seven flights a week on the Moscow-Varadero route) and Belarus (one flight per week on the Kaliningrad-Minsk route and one flight per week on a reciprocal basis from international airports in Russia, except for Moscow and St. Petersburg, decisions on which were made by the Government earlier). The number of flights to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates will also be increased, one flight per week on a reciprocal basis from international airports in Russia, except for Moscow and St. Petersburg, decisions on which were made earlier.
Also, the operational headquarters decided from April 1 to resume flights to foreign countries from the international airports of Barnaul, Belgorod, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Krasnodar, Lipetsk, Nalchik, Orenburg, Saratov, Sochi, Tyumen and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, taking into account the Government’s order dated March 16, 2020 year No. 635-r and the need to comply with sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
The operational headquarters reminds of the need for foreign citizens to carry a negative test for coronavirus, made by the PCR method no earlier than 72 hours before the flight to Russia, and to comply with other sanitary and epidemiological measures established in the Russian Federation. Russian citizens must pass a PCR test upon arrival in Russia within 72 hours. The headquarters also reminds of the need to take care of your health as much as possible and, if possible, refrain from traveling abroad.
