Order of March 23, 2021 No. 728-r

The regions will receive more than 3.5 billion rubles for additional financing of hospitals and clinics operating under the compulsory health insurance system. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The funds will come from the Government’s reserve fund and will be directed to 12 Russian regions, as well as the city of Baikonur. Such support will allow medical organizations to offset the additional costs associated with providing care to patients with coronavirus infection.

Earlier, over 25.4 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes in 47 regions of the country. The decision to allocate additional funding has been made following the meeting of Mikhail Mishustin with members of the Council of the House of the Federation Council, which took place on February 24, 2021.

The signed document changes Government Decree of April 13, 2020 No. 348-r.
