On the basis of secondary school No. 50 in the city of Murmansk, an instructive and methodological lesson on mobilization training was held for heads of municipal administrations, employees of military commissariats and other officials responsible for mobilization work with citizens. Representatives of the headquarters of the Northern Fleet were also invited to it.
The event was held under the general leadership of Colonel Oleg Khamov, military commissar of the Murmansk region.
The participants in the instructive-methodological lesson were shown the organization of the work of the notification area for mobilized citizens, taking into account all modern requirements. Employees of the military commissariat of the hero city of Murmansk clearly demonstrated the procedure for receiving and transmitting various signals and instructions, maintaining documentation, handing over personal summons to citizens subject to a call for mobilization, and private orders to organizations supplying vehicles. The requirements of the guidance documents were explained to the trainees, the equipment of the notification area was shown: from signs, tags and plates of the established pattern to a set of stationery for each workplace.
Based on the results of the lesson, Colonel Oleg Khamov informed the participants about the forthcoming exercises in the summer period, in which their knowledge and practical skills of mobilization work would be tested.
After a short break, a ceremonial part took place in the assembly hall of the educational institution – the awarding of employees of the Murmansk city military commissariat. Its leader, reserve colonel Oleg Pogodin, was solemnly awarded the challenge cup of the governor of the Murmansk region for the successes achieved in mobilization training and registration and draft work. The commissariat employees were rewarded with certificates and medals.
